Police Reports is a sampling of incident responded to by the Aurora Police Department. It is not intended to be all-inclusive.

Theft: Police were called to a store on South Chillicothe Road on Nov. 19 at about 8:30 p.m. for a report that two men grabbed an armful of merchandise and fled to a waiting vehicle, which drove off. Officers could not locate it. The loss was valued at $2,800.

Vandalism: An Aurora woman reported Nov. 17 that when she returned to her car at lunchtime while at work on Lena Drive, her rear window was smashed. No value of the loss was given.

An Eldridge Road woman reported Nov. 16 that her car was egged at her home overnight.

A South Chillicothe Road man reported Nov. 20 that an unknown driver hit his light pole sometime overnight. No damage estimate was given.

Warrant arrests: Bedford police arrested a Bedford woman Nov. 18 on an Aurora warrant for failing to appear in court on a traffic violation. Aurora police picked up the woman in Oakwood Village, booked her and released her on a cash bond.

Summit County sheriff's deputies arrested an Akron man Nov. 16 on an Aurora warant for failing to appear in court on a theft charge. Aurora police picked up the man in Macedonia, booked him and took him to the Portage County Jail.

Medical emergency: Police said a Streetsboro man traveling southbound on South Chillicothe Road apparently suffered a medical emergency, swerved off the road and struck a mailbox on Nov. 11 at about 11:05 p.m. He was taken to Cleveland Clinic-Twinsburg by Aurora paramedics.
