Aurora High baseballers win again, up record to 8-1

A 5-hit shutout complete game by pitcher Jaret Rose led the Aurora Greenmen varsity baseball team to a 12-0 shellacking of Copley in a Suburban League American Conference game on Tuesday.

Rose struck out 5 batters as the Greenmen raised their overall record to 8-1 (7-1 in the conference).

Drew McVay and Ben Stawicki each had 3 hits, while Jonathan Blue and Joe Capretta each had 2. Capretta, McVay and Stawicki each had 2 RBI.

The varsity squad hosts Shaker Heights on April 19 in a non-league contest.
